Young Pirates Mascot For Stockport

Seven year old William Duggan lives in Mangotsfield and attends Barley Close Primary School. His hobbies are football, cricket, and playing his guitar. He’s a footballer himself, and plays left back for Downend Rangers.

William says that he comes from a ‘Rovers mad family’, which is hardly surprising, as his granddad is former Radio Bristol commentator Colin Howlett. He goes on to say that he loves listening to music on his MP3 player and that Oasis and the Beatles are his favourite bands. In addition to following Rovers, William is a Chelsea supporter and says he’s lucky enough to watch the occasional game at Stamford Bridge.

His favourite player is Richard Walker, and he was a big Ryan Williams fan before Ryan left us for Aldershot.
