Well, quite what happened to the close season I do not know, but with the draw for the Carling Cup just done and the World Cup in full flow, it seems like the football season has yet to end.
Nobody can deny that the last few weeks have been testing ones for Gasheads, but the show must go on, and this Friday, 23rd June sees the Songburst Karaoke being held at the Memorial Stadium which will provide a welcome distraction from all the recent news.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and there is no charge for admission, with everyone welcome to come along. There will be special drinks promotions on the evening. No need to book just turn up at the Clubhouse bar on the night.
So for all singing abilities from voices of angels to strangled cats, make sure you come to the Mem on Friday 23rd of June.
As a reminder, don't forget you can watch all Englands' matches at the Mem too, free of charge. Whilst there have been buffet and carvery meal deals available, you do not need to take part in these promotions to be able to come along and watch the match.
